Changing isn't a bad thing, it never was.

Personality is what makes you who you are. The way you speak and the emotions that one displays are all a part of their personality. However, most humans often view others and critique themselves, beating themselves up about not having what someone else does. This is how all people are, they see what they are lacking and only glorify what others obtain, which leads to unhealthy results. There is a part of me that I wish was different, and more like others. Something I would want to remove from my personality is that I lack confidence. Being confident may seem like a piece of cake for others, but for me it does not come so easily. I tend to overthink every decision that I make, and become nervous easily. I truly do care what others think of me, and always have, which is a problem when it comes to my nature. In school, even just having to read a paragraph from a textbook or story makes my palms sweaty and my heart race. As for presentations, I count down my classmates presenting before I have to go, to prepare myself for what is to come. It is hard for me to speak up and have my voice heard, while others can easily wrap crowds around their one finger. It is even more intimidating because there are great speakers in my family. My dad is one of most brilliant speakers, and is always full of confidence and charisma. My timid character is quite the opposite, and it is difficult for me to stand up, and be bold. In place of the fearful aspect of my personality, I would just love to be courageous. Being able to speak in front of others without hesitating, and making decisions without even worrying about others would be such a gift for me. If I could get up and take action, and have my voice heard, I would want that to be a part of me. Instead of only doubting myself and the actions that I take, I want to be able to have faith in myself and have self assurance. Being confident would make me a whole new person - a person I know I am proud to be.
